The menu presents dishes that unfold the creative imagination and rich experience of Michelin awarded Executive Chef, Asterios Koustoudis, along with Chef de Cuisine and their dynamic team. Each meal is completed by our Pastry Chef , who prepares a selection of Greek desserts.
Asterios Koustoudis
Talented Chef Asterios Koustoudis is the Executive Chef of Hotel Grande Bretagne and King George Hotel. Awarded with a Michelin star, Asterios believes in simple cuisine, gives emphasis on premium quality fresh ingredients and advanced cooking technique in order to achieve clean flavors and create exquisite dishes.

With his wide experience in Mediterranean and Greek cuisine, he has given a modern twist to the menus of both hotels capturing the essence of each season.
Nikos Liokas

Nikos Liokas is the new Chef de Cuisine of GB Roof Garden Restaurant. An enthusiastic chef with significant experience, Nikos specializes in fine dining. He studied culinary arts in Athens and worked his way up in renowned restaurants in London for several years including Fera at Claridge's, Davies & Brook by Daniel Hamm and Hide Restaurant. 


He is a talented, creative and ever-evolving person, who never ceases experimenting on new techniques, ingredients and flavors. With Mediterranean culinary influence, he has designed a fine comfort menu for GB Roof Garden Restaurant with an authentic wide-ranging flavor palette and each of his creations is a nostalgic dining journey. Fresh seasonal ingredients have always been a fundamental priority of GB Roof Garden's menu with emphasis on organic locally sourced products of small producers and food provenance.

Evangelos Psofidis
Head Sommelier Evangelos Psofidis was born in Thessaloniki in 1976. While working for "48" he began his studies on wine and spirits attending the educational institute "Wines and Spirits Education Trust" and graduated having obtained the "Advanced Certificate in Wines and Spirits" and the "Professional Certificate in Spirits".

Since 2006 he has been working for the Hotel Grande Bretagne and in 2009 he undertook the maintenance of the Cellar and the creation and editing of the wine card of GB Roof Garden restaurant and GB Corner.
Awards & Recognitions
Selected amongst the best restaurants in Greece since 2017, the GB Roof Garden Restaurant received another Toques d'Or award for Modern International Cuisine in 2020 (‘Golden Chef's Hat', Χρυσοί Σκούφοι 2020) by Athinorama magazine.

Moreover, the restaurant has managed to receive for the sixth consecutive year the special recognition of 'Best of Award of Excellence' from the famous ‘Wine Spectator' magazine.
