Hotel Grande Bretagne presents an extraordinary culinary experience celebrating two iconic pillars of Greek gastronomy: the tomato and the Xinomavro.
For the first time, we embark on a unique journey that bridges tradition and imagination. The menu pays homage to the tomato, a humble yet noble ingredient. For its creation, awarded Executive Chef, Asterios Koustoudis, draws inspiration from the rare heirloom varieties, all cultivated by hand using natural methods on the slopes of Mount Pateras, by natural grower Nikos Tsompanoglou.
Each course is paired with a unique expression of Xinomavro from leading local producers carefully curated by Head-Sommelier Evangelos Psofidis. Under the guidance of renowned winemakers, the story behind each label is revealed as the evening unfolds, weaving together a mosaic of aromas, secrets, and heritage.

The Atrium of Alexander's Lounge and the Executive Chef Asterios Koustoudis invite the guests to embark on a gastronomic journey through "Il Giardino Segreto", the flavorful menu offering Italian accompaniments prepared in an open kitchen using carefully selected Mediterranean ingredients.
No one can resist the delicious aroma wafting from the garden's oven while slow-cooking different styles of handmade sourdough pizza with fine organic tomato sauce, creating a tantalizing culinary experience.
The cold cut of the day is thinly sliced on the spot with the impressive red vintage machine and served with a delightful assortment of cheeses, including Gruyere cheese with truffle, "manoura" cheese from Sifnos island, and aged "kaseri" from Sohos while the platter also features fig "salami", artichokes from Tinos island and olives.
In this unique atmosphere, additionally to a remarkable wine list, the award-winning bartenders of the historic hotel, prepare refreshing aperitifs to complete the ritual and serve premium drinks.
